Often referred as the Soul of Incredible India, Odisha is a place equipped with rich and vibrant cultural heritage in the form of historical monuments, temples, monasteries, sculptures, traditional arts, music, dance and its peace-loving people.
Rayagada is a district in southern Odisha, a state in India. It became an independent district in October 1992. The city Rayagada is well-known for its prominent local attractions all over Odisha. Rayagada is known as the most prominent region of the state because of its longest human history and also is an industrial region. It has long and illustrious historical records apparent by copper plates, rock inscriptions as well as different coins which distinctly specifies that the region was the centre of attraction in all ages.It was founded by Maharajah Vishwanath Dev Gajapati of the Suryavansh dynasty of Jeypore. Languages spoken in Rayagada include Odia,which is the major language.Other languages include Kui,Sora and various other tribal languages.The city is mainly well known because of the goddess ‘Maa Majhighariani’. The city Rayagada is expanding rapidly and the city’s prevalence is being recognised by the whole world. The various tourist places like the Hanging bridge,The chatikona falls,Devagiri hills,etc are captivating the nature tourists. It is therefore undoubted that more and more of tourists are attracted towards the paradise
